Featured Program Offerings

Radius Adventure helps schools provide safe, hands-on outdoor programs that build confidence, teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Through climbing, field trips, and custom adventure experiences, students gain practical skills they can carry into school and everyday life.

Introduction to Rock Climbing

Students learn the fundamentals of rock climbing in a top-rope setting through safe, guided instruction. This program introduces climbing technique, knot tying, belaying basics, climbing etiquette, grading systems, and equipment safety while building confidence, trust, communication, and perseverance.

Outdoor Adventure Leadership

Students develop technical outdoor skills and transferable leadership skills they can use in school, relationships, and everyday life. Program elements may include team-building challenges, navigation basics, environmental awareness, Leave No Trace principles, leadership activities, and guided reflection.

Climbing Field Trips

Guided outdoor climbing experiences help students apply what they have learned in a real-world environment. These field trips focus on confidence building, problem solving, teamwork, communication, and safe skill application.

Custom Programs & Trips

Radius Adventure instructors hold professional training and certifications relevant to outdoor instruction, student safety, emergency response, and youth development.

Our team’s qualifications  include:

American Mountain Guides Association training for single-pitch climbing instruction
National Outdoor Leadership School training in outdoor leadership and risk management
NOLS Wilderness First Responder certification
CPR and First Aid training
Level III Canyoneering and Rappel Guide Certification
Trauma-informed care training

Our instructors are trained to lead outdoor activities safely while creating supportive spaces where students can grow in confidence, resilience, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
